        $1800, all inclusive up to a maximum of 60 students

We allow one (1) complimentary adult chaperone for every ten (10) paying students

EDUCATIONAL WHALE WATCHES

As we enter our 32nd season of operation, we at Atlantic Fleet are pleased to announce our 2007 School Whale Watch Program. During the 2006 school whale watch trips, we experienced a 99% sighting record. If your school group has sailed on other New Hampshire based whale watch vessels and you have been disappointed with the results, perhaps you should consider the the M/V Atlantic Queen II before booking.

 We are currently affiliated with the Blue Ocean Society of Portsmouth, NH and Whalenet at Wheelock College in Boston. Blue Ocean staff scientists serve as expert naturalists on all of our trips. Both of these organizations have materials available for classroom teachers. The Whalenet internet package includes a basic classroom curriculum which has proven useful in preparing students for their trips as part of a complete marine studies unit.

Our Whale Watch Field Trip Program is available weekdays during May, June, September and October. The discounted student fare is $19.00. Minimum group size is 60 paying students, however, smaller groups are welcome as long as your schedule is flexible enough to allow us to match your small group with another to meet our minimum to operate the trip. Our normal schedule calls for a 9:30am departure with a return to the dock at 2-2:30pm. We can adjust our schedule to accommodate any group. We allow one complimentary adult chaperone for every 10 paying students. Any additional adults in your group sail at the student rate. Bus drivers sail at no charge. We strongly recommend that you bring at least one adult chaperone for every 15 students. We require a $200 deposit after booking to hold your reservation.
