Each trip is not only a chance to view these magnificent animals, but also provides the opportunity to collect invaluable data on the populations of the whales off the New England coast. We are pleased to have marine biologists from the Blue Ocean Society in Portsmouth, NH serve as naturalists on all of our trips. (www.blueoceansociety.org) They have assisted many research organizations with whale identification projects, and regularly contribute sighting and photographic data to the College of the Atlantic  in Bar Harbor, Maine. Their extensive field experience enables them to provide expert commentary throughout the trip and to answer any questions that may arise.
